Job summary

All Site Staffing is seeking a dependable General Operative to join our construction team across Galway and surrounding areas. The role involves general labouring on active sites, assisting tradespeople, loading/unloading materials, and keeping work areas clean and safe.

Candidates must hold a valid Safe Pass and a Manual Handling Certificate, be physically fit, reliable and punctual, and able to work as part of a team while following health and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Valid Safe Pass – essential.
• Valid Manual Handling Certificate – essential.
• Previous construction or general operative experience is an advantage.
• Good physical fitness and ability to carry out manual work.
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
• Ability to work well as part of a team.
• Strong awareness of health and safety.
• Full driving licence is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general labouring and operative duties on construction sites.
• Assist tradespeople and site teams as required.
• Loading, unloading and moving materials.
• Keeping work areas clean, tidy and safe.
• Assisting with deliveries and site preparations.
• Following instructions from site management.
• Adhering to all company and site health and safety procedures.
• Carrying out other general duties as required.
