Job summary

Equinix Ireland is seeking a Project Coordinator to assist in planning day-to-day operations and strategic direction of construction projects within a moderate scope. You will collaborate with project managers to track, report and deliver capital initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Proven years experience in project and construction management preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Use of databases, Power BI and AI.

Responsibilities

  • Project Management: Assists in managing tracking and reporting of capital projects.
  • Assists in providing guidance and project leadership including ground up construction, remodels, renovations, infrastructure upgrades and replacement, etc., ensuring projects are meeting or exceeding company expectations.
  • Takes ownership of managing internal reporting within GDC for Sub-Hub and associated projects working with all project managers.
  • Procurement: Takes ownership of PM actions in support of PMs in relation to generation, processing and updating of Purchase Orders, Requisitions, Invoiceing, and adjustment of same Vendor Relations.
  • Vendor Relations: Assists in directing, and monitoring external vendors per project comprising General Contractors, A&E design teams, commissioning agents, equipment suppliers, etc.
  • Training Programs: Provides feedback on training programs.
  • Contract Administration: Assists in executing effective contract administration procedures including generation, review, and monitoring of prime contracts, subcontracts, change orders, cost forecasts, and other pertinent documents and documentation. With a particular focus on Contractor and vendor weekly, monthly reporting.
  • Leadership: Assists in directing all internal and external project team members including internal Design, Procurement, Operations, and IT/Network support teams within a moderate scope.
  • Policy & Procedure Development: Provides feedback on policies and procedures.
