Job summary

PJ Hegarty & Sons is seeking a Project Planner for a large-scale Dublin Region project. The role reports to the Contracts Manager and involves developing, monitoring and reporting baseline schedules across CSA and M&E disciplines to support overall project delivery.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Engineering or Construction Management and 3–5 years of planning experience, with proficiency in MS Project and Primavera, and prior work with a main contractor on large commercial builds.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
• 3–5 years of experience as a Construction Planner.
• Experience with Microsoft Project and Primavera.
• Experience with a main contractor on large-scale commercial builds incl. Civil, M&E and Fit-Outs.

Responsibilities

• Develop, monitor and report baseline construction schedules.
• Coordinate schedules across CSA disciplines with M&E integration.
• Prepare progress updates and client presentations on schedule control.
• Analyse deviations and recommend remedial actions.
• Extract and analyse schedule data using filters and histograms.
• Work with site management teams to forecast and report progress.
