Job summary

Erne Concrete Pumping Ireland Ltd. are recruiting HGV drivers for their site in Daisyhill, Ballyconnell, Co. Cavan.

Duties include driving and maneuvering heavy concrete pumps and operating pump machinery to place concrete according to site specs. You will perform daily checks, maintain safety, and coordinate with site managers and drivers. Applicants must hold a valid Category C (HGV) licence and have 2+ years of experience with concrete pumps; Level 4 qualification is required.

Qualifications

• Category C (HGV) driving licence is essential.
• Experience operating mobile concrete boom pumps or line pumps on construction sites (2+ years preferred).
• Minimum qualification: Level 4 including Leaving Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Drive and maneuver HGV concrete pumps to and from sites.
• Operate pump machinery safely and place concrete per site specs.
• Perform daily pre-operation checks and clean pumps after use.
• Coordinate with site managers, batching plants, and drivers to ensure project execution.
• Adhere to safety policies and regulations.

Erne Concrete Pumping Ireland Ltd. are currently recruiting HGV Drivers for their site at Daisyhill, Ballyconnell, Co. CavanDuties for the role are as follows:

• Drive and safely maneuver heavy goods vehicles (HGV) mounting concrete pumps to and from busy sites.
• Operate pump machinery safely via remote control or manual overrides to place concrete accurately according to site specifications.
• Conduct daily pre-operational vehicle and machinery checks. Clean out pumps, pipelines, and hoppers thoroughly after operations to prevent concrete buildup.
• Adhere strictly to site safety guidelines, HSA regulations, and Erne Pumping's internal safety policies to ensure a hazard-free work environment.
• Coordinate effectively with site managers, batching plants, and delivery drivers to ensure smooth project execution.

Total remuneration is €36,605 per annum based on standard hours 39 per week.
