Job summary

Company Details Confidential is seeking an experienced Concrete Finisher for civil construction projects in Ireland. You will place, finish, and cure concrete to specified standards, reading construction drawings and coordinating with site supervisors.

The role requires Safe Pass, proven hands-on experience with concrete placement and finishing, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team across multiple sites nationwide.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Concrete Finisher on civil or construction projects.
• Safe Pass certification.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.

Responsibilities

• Place, spread, level, and finish concrete for foundations, plinths, bases, footprints, kerbing, and reinstatement works.
• Produce high-quality concrete finishes using hand and power tools.
• Carry out screeding, floating, edging, and joint finishing.
• Assist with the preparation of formwork and reinforcement where required.
• Ensure correct curing methods are applied to achieve specified concrete strength and finish.
• Read and follow construction drawings and site specifications.
• Work closely with Site Supervisors, Engineers, and other members of the utility gang.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organised work area.
• Comply with all company Health & Safety policies and relevant Irish regulations.

• Flexibility to travel and work on projects throughout Ireland.
• Full clean driving licence is an advantage.
