Job summary

FRS Recruitment is assisting a leading precision engineering client in Shannon, Co. Clare, to find a skilled CNC Programmer/Machinist.

The role focuses on programming 5-axis components on HyperMill, creating efficient set-up instructions, and liaising with operators to ensure accurate production transfer. You will work within an AS9100 and ISO 9001 certified environment, handling complex parts for aerospace and medical device sectors.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience as CNC Programmer/Machinist.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in 2D/3D modelling and drafting using HyperMill.
• Strong knowledge of CNC machine-set-up, fixturing and tooling.
• Experience programming complex 5-axis components.
• Ability to read and interpret detailed engineering drawings.
