Job summary

Wilton Waste Recycling Limited, based in Co. Cavan, is seeking Computer Numerical Control Operatives for immediate start at their facilities in Co. Cavan.

The role requires a minimum of 3 years’ CNC operation experience and may include CNC certification as a plus, with a focus on programming and CAM software usage. Candidates will set up, program, monitor and maintain CNC machines, ensuring safety, quality and precision.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years CNC operation experience.
• There are no minimum academic requirements.
• CNC certification is a plus but is not required.
• Experience programming CNC controllers.
• Experience using CAM software.
• Competent with precision measuring equipment.

Responsibilities

• Set up, maintain and control the CNC machine to execute product orders.
• Program machines ensuring parameters and measurements meet quality and safety standards.
• Know manufacturing processes, quality standards and statistical process control.
• Consult technical resources to ensure equipment availability and monitor automated machines.
• Operate precision measuring equipment and perform routine maintenance and test runs.
• Load appropriate tools and set up machine controller for operation and changeovers.
• Read standard blueprints and use automation programming effectively.

Wilton Waste Recycling Limited, based in Co. Cavan, is currently seeking Computer Numerical Control Operatives for immediate start at their facilities in Co. Cavan.

Qualifications: A minimum of 3 years’ CNC operation experience is required. There are no minimum academic requirements. A CNC or related certification is a plus but is not required.

General Duties / Responsibilities / Experience:

• To set up, maintain and control the computer numerical control machine in order to execute product orders
• To program the machines, ensuring the required parameters and measurements are met while maintaining the quality and safety standards
• Essential knowledge for the role includes manufacturing processes, quality standards and statistical process control
• Essential skills include the ability to consult technical resources, to ensure equipment availability and to monitor automated machines
• Candidates must be competent to operate precision measuring equipment, perform machine maintenance and perform test runs
• Candidates must be able to remove processed workpieces, set up the machine controller and supply the machine with appropriate tools
• Candidates must have experience in programming CNC controllers, reading standard blueprints and removing inadequate work pieces
• Candidates must have experience in using CAM software, troubleshooting and using automatic programming
• Minimum of 3 years’ of relevant experience as a CNC Operative in a previous role

Annual Remuneration: €36,605.00; Pay rate €18.05 per hour
