Job summary

Principle is seeking a Compliance Operations Specialist in Dublin for a 6-month contract. The role focuses on policy interpretation, case and ticket management, and addressing risk and compliance queries with internal stakeholders.

You will work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment to interpret policies, provide practical guidance, and support cross-location teams on governance and incident management. Hybrid work with on-site collaboration is available.

Qualifications

• Experience within compliance, risk, policy, governance or a closely related environment.
• Ability to interpret policies and provide clear guidance on compliance or risk questions.
• Experience managing cases, tickets, incidents, escalations or operational queries.
• Confidence dealing with internal stakeholders and communicating complex policies clearly.
• Strong organisational skills with ability to manage multiple cases and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Manage and respond to internal compliance, risk and policy-related cases and tickets.
• Review policy questions and help stakeholders understand what is permitted, including identifying potential policy exceptions.
• Interpret existing policies and translate them into clear, practical guidance for internal stakeholders.
• Gather and prepare relevant information and documentation to support compliance decisions and escalations.
• Ensure cases and tickets move through workflows, coordinating with other teams as needed.
• Support day-to-day compliance operations, case management and process administration.
• Create, maintain and organise case and policy documentation within internal systems.
• Support updates to compliance policies and associated documentation.
• Identify opportunities to improve ticket management, documentation and operational processes.
• Work with compliance colleagues across multiple international locations.

Compliance Operations Specialist - Policy & Risk

• Contract: 6-month contract
• Salary: €86,000 per annum
• Location: Dublin - hybrid, 3 days per week onsite

We are looking for an experienced Compliance Operations Specialist to join a global technology organisation in Dublin.

This is a hands-on, operational compliance role focused on policy interpretation, case and ticket management, risk and compliance queries, and stakeholder support. You will work with internal teams to understand policy questions, assess individual cases and help determine what is permitted under existing policies.

The successful candidate will have a strong compliance, risk, policy or incident management background and be comfortable working through a high volume of operational queries in a fast-paced environment.

What you'll be doing

• Manage and respond to internal compliance, risk and policy-related cases and tickets.
• Review policy questions and help stakeholders understand what is permitted, including identifying potential policy exceptions.
• Interpret existing policies and translate them into clear, practical guidance for internal stakeholders.
• Gather and prepare relevant information and documentation to support compliance decisions and escalations.
• Ensure cases and tickets continue moving through the appropriate workflows, including coordinating with other teams where ownership sits elsewhere.
• Support day-to-day compliance operations, case management and process administration.
• Create, maintain and organise case and policy documentation within internal document management systems.
• Support updates to compliance policies and associated documentation
• Identify opportunities to improve ticket management, documentation and operational compliance processes.
• Work closely with compliance colleagues across multiple international locations.

What we’re looking for

• Professional experience within compliance, risk, policy, governance or a closely related environment.
• Strong ability to interpret policies and provide clear guidance on compliance or risk-related questions.
• Experience managing cases, tickets, incidents, escalations or operational queries.
• Confidence dealing directly with internal stakeholders and communicating complex policies in a clear and practical way.
• Strong judgement and the ability to identify when an issue requires further review or escalation.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases and priorities simultaneously.
• Experience maintaining accurate documentation and case records.
• Comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment and becoming productive quickly with limited supervision.

Experience within incident management will also be considered where you can demonstrate strong case management, policy interpretation, escalation and stakeholder-management capabilities.
