Job summary

Carechoice Beaumont Residential Centre in Ireland is seeking a Kitchen Assistant for a full-time position. You will support daily kitchen duties, contribute to high service standards, and help create a homely environment for residents in our nursing home.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role, be flexible to rotate between kitchen and housekeeping, and share a genuine passion for elder care.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role.
• Flexible to interchange between kitchen and housekeeping.
• Friendly and respectful manner.

Responsibilities

• Comply with HACCP guidelines as directed by the Head Chef.
• Keep kitchen areas, dining rooms, and common areas clean at all times.
• Wash up crockery, cutlery, and utensils as required.
• Clean equipment and manage waste to a minimum.
• Ensure safe work practices and a safe environment at all times.
