Job summary

Irish HomeCare is seeking qualified Healthcare Assistants to join our team in Meath. You will provide comprehensive home care services in clients' own homes, following individualized care plans and supporting daily living activities.

The role requires a QQI Level 5 Health/Social Care qualification, prior care experience, and a full Irish driving licence with access to a vehicle. 39 hours per week across mornings, afternoons and evenings, including weekends.

Qualifications

• QQI Level 5 Health or Social Care or equivalent.
• Care or healthcare experience.
• Good understanding of geriatric health and mobility issues.
• Strong verbal communication skills and English proficiency.
• Full Irish driving licence and access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal, non-medical care to clients in their homes.
• Follow Care Plan to support nutritional, social and physical needs.
• Assist with personal care, mobility, meal preparation and light housekeeping.
