Job summary

InisCare in Dundrum is seeking a Health Care Assistant to support customers living at home. The role includes personal care, mobility support and light housekeeping, with emphasis on compassion, dignity and safety.

We provide training and a supportive leadership team, aiming to help caregivers deliver professional, empathetic care that enables clients to maintain active, fulfilling lifestyles at home in Ireland.

Qualifications

• QQI Level 5 Health Care Award or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety protocols and patient moving handling.
• Report concerns to manager about customers or colleagues.
• Report safeguarding incidents to manager.
• Document tasks accurately in daily logs.
• Maintain confidentiality at all times.
• Attend training scheduled by InisCare.
• Ensure each task is done with dignity and respect.
• Encourage autonomy and decision making.
• Communicate with the customer throughout the shift.
• Notify office if you are unable to attend a shift.
