Job summary

CareChoice is a leading residential home in Ireland, providing a safe, welcoming environment for older residents. We are seeking a kind and reliable Multitast Assistant at our Dungarvan home to maintain high cleanliness and hygiene standards across the facility.

The ideal candidate is passionate about elder care, capable of working independently or in a team, and comfortable with varied shifts and English language requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience in a residential care environment is desirable but not essential.
• Passion for elder care and creating a safe, clean living space for residents.
• Able to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Daily cleaning of general areas and residents' rooms.
• Proper use and storage of cleaning equipment and solutions.
• Collection and correct disposal of domestic waste.
• Clean spillages promptly and use wet signs where required.
• Wash, dry and iron personal and household laundry.
• Manage trays, dishwasher and keep kitchen unit clean.
• Wash crockery and cutlery as required; set up meal trays.
• Ensure safe work practices and a safe environment at all times.
• Rotational and flexible shifts according to needs of the home.
