Job summary
LBR Elad Limited in Galway is seeking compassionate Healthcare Assistants to join our residential services for adults with complex needs. You will support residents with daily living, personal care and community participation in a safe, respectful, person-centred environment.
We require QQI/FETAC Level 5 in Healthcare Support or related field, with Garda vetting before starting. 10 positions available; full-time, 42 hours per week; salary €36,730 per annum; start on or after 19 October 2026.
Qualifications
- Candidates must have a QQI/FETAC Level 5 qualification in Healthcare Support, Social Care or related field (or equivalent).
- Experience in healthcare, disability services or social care is desirable.
- A full driving licence is desirable but not essential.
- Garda vetting and pre-employment checks will be completed before start.
Responsibilities
- Support residents with daily living, personal care, meals and routines.
- Promote dignity, privacy, independence and personal choice.
- Follow care plans, risk assessments and safeguarding procedures.
- Maintain accurate records and participate in reviews and meetings.
