Nua Healthcare Services is a leading care provider in Ireland, offering Residential, Supported Living, Day Services and Community Outreach for children and adults with complex needs. We are recruiting Assistant Support Workers to empower individuals to achieve independence and lead meaningful lives within their communities.

Formación

• QQI Level 5 in Healthcare is required.
• Previous experience in a support role is desirable but not essential.
• A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a genuine passion for supporting individuals to live fulfilling and independent lives.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with individuals, families, colleagues, and professionals.
• A full driving licence is required, or candidates must be actively working towards obtaining one.
• Flexibility and reliability to work across a range of shifts in line with service requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Support individuals with planning and managing their daily activities and routines.
• Provide support to individuals while accessing and participating in their local community.
• Assist individuals with education, skills development, and achieving personal goals and outcomes.
• Help individuals develop and maintain independent living skills (cooking, cleaning, laundry, appointments, social connections).
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, standards, regulations, and codes of practice.
• Work flexible shift patterns across a 24/7 service to meet individuals' needs.
