Job summary

Nua Healthcare Services is seeking compassionate Assistant Support Workers to join our team in Carlow, Ireland. This role involves providing person-centred support to individuals across residential and day services, helping them achieve independence and meaningful daily living.

We offer training, development opportunities, and a range of benefits as part of our team. The position involves shift work on a 7-day roster at our Carlow locations.

Qualifications

QQI Level 5 in Healthcare is required.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
Flexibility and reliability to work across shifts.

Responsibilities

Support individuals in daily activities and routines.
Assist participation in local community activities.
Support education, skills development and personal goals.
Help individuals develop independent living skills (cooking, cleaning, etc.).
Adhere to company policies, procedures and codes of practice.
Work flexible 24/7 shift patterns as required.
