Job summary

Horizons is seeking qualified Social Care Workers to support people living in community residences in Cork City. Roles include assisting with daily living, promoting independence, and enabling participation in the wider community. Both full-time and part-time positions are available.

A Diploma or BA in Social Care Practice (QQI Level 7 or higher) or an equivalent CORU-recognised qualification is required. Eligibility to work in Ireland, evidence of experience, strong report writing and knowledge

Qualifications

• Diploma or BA in Social Care Practice (Level 7 or higher on QQI).
• Equivalent CORU social care qualification.
• CORU registration or eligibility for registration.
• Valid work permission to live and work in Ireland.
• 12 months experience in a healthcare setting.
• Full Clean Driver’s Licence desirable.
• Excellent report writing and organisational skills.
• Knowledge of HIQA regulations and standards.
• Interpersonal and written communication skills.
