Job summary

The Rehab Group in Bray, Co Wicklow is seeking a Community Service Manager to oversee operational management and development of day services for clients with complex needs. You will lead a team in a Person Centred Planning framework and ensure high quality, cost-efficient services.

The role requires a third level qualification in health and social care with management experience, a full driving licence, and a track record in strategic planning and team leadership.

Qualifications

• A third level qualification in health and social care is essential with or working towards a management element.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in management or supervisory role in health or social care is required.
• Project Management, People Management, MAPA Training, Safeguarding Training are preferred qualifications.

Responsibilities

• To line manage plan, develop, implement, and manage appropriate personal development, health, educational, recreational, and occupational programmes within the Resource Centre, in consultation with clients and the Staff team, and as directed by senior management.
• To ensure the delivery of high quality, coordinated, and seamless services, including regular quality assurance audits with service user representatives and stakeholders.
• To plan and develop service development proposals within the area, e.g., home support and respite care, in consultation with service users.

Permanent Full-Time Contract, 39 hours per week

About the Role:

Responsible for the operational management and ongoing development of services supporting people with complex needs. These are customer focused and cost efficient, and operate within Person Centred Planning frameworks and processes.

What We’re Looking For:

• A third level qualification in health and social care is essential with or working towards a management element.
• Full, driving licence with 2 years’ experience is essential
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in management or supervisory role in the area of health or social care.
• Project Management, People Management, MAPA Training, Safeguarding Training
• Experience in the strategic planning, development and delivery of a wide range of client focused health and social care services with proven experience of leading and motivating a team with excellent communication, interpersonal, organisational, logistical and management skills; and the ability to establish and maintain good relationships with internal colleagues.

Your Responsibilities:

• To line manage plan, develop, implement, and manage appropriate personal development, health, educational, recreational, and occupational programmes within the Resource Centre, in consultation with clients and the Staff team, and as directed, advised, and guided by senior management.
• To ensure the delivery of high quality, coordinated, and seamless services for example, by implementing regular quality assurance audits, including regular reviews including service user representatives and advocates, key stakeholders, and funding bodies.
• To plan and develop any other service development proposals as appropriate within the area as directed, for example, home support, respite care and being proactive in the development of new and innovative initiative / activities / and programmes for and in consultation with the service users.

Additional Requirements:

• A full, clean driving licence, with a minimum of 2 years’ experience is desirable.
• A panel may be formed as a result of this campaign.

If applicable, candidates will need to provide a police certificate for any country they've lived in before moving to Ireland

We offer a competitive starting salary of €61,933.38- €66,227.32per annum (Points 1–5 of the scale), based on qualifications and experience.
