Job summary

FRS Recruitment is seeking a Community Nurse for Carlow/Kilkenny (Republic of Ireland). You will provide safe, quality, person‑centred nursing care to clients in their own homes, as part of a nurse‑led care team with clinical supervision.

Shift options include North Kilkenny 8am–12pm (3–4 shifts/week), North Kilkenny 9am–11am (Sat/Sun), Kilkenny nights, and Carlow nights (10pm–9am). A starting bonus of €1000 and ongoing training are provided.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse on live register of NMBI.
• Community-based nursing experience is desirable but training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide evidenced-based nursing care and implement care plans.
• Prioritise the needs and comforts of the Adult/Child.
• Work closely with family members.
• Promote the recognition of the client with kindness, compassion and respect.
• Work within their Scope of Practice NMBI (2015).
• Adhere to the NMBI Code of Professional Conduct for Nurses and Midwives (2015).

Community Nurse - Carlow/Kilkenny (FRSRN) Kilkenny, Republic of Ireland

Salary: EUR25 - EUR40 per hour

Role of Registered Nurse is to provide safe, quality person centred care to a client within their own home environment. The successful candidate will be part of Nurse led care team and will have support from local clinical supervision Team, reporting directly to CNM.

NorthKilkenny - 8am to 12pm (3-4 shifts per week)

North Kilkenny- 9am to 11am (Saturday or Sunday every Fortnite)

Kilkenny (Nights) - Shift Times Vary (Full Time and Part Time Available)

Carlow (Nights) -10pm to 9am (Full Time and Part Time Available)

Responsibilities to include

• Provide evidenced based nursing care and implement all aspects of the client’s care plans based on the needs identified. i.e. Suction, NIV support, O2 therapy, medication management, enteral feeding, physiotherapy programme.
• To prioritise the needs and comforts of the Adult/Child.
• Work closely in partnership with family members.
• To promote the recognition of the client as an individual & demonstrate kindness, compassion, and respect.
• To be committed to the care and concern of client.
• Work within their Scope of Practice NMBI (2015).
• Adhere to the NMBI Code of Professional Conduct for Nurses and Midwives (2015).

Qualifications & Experience

Registered Nurse on live register of NMBI.

Community based nursing experience is desirable but not essential as relevant training will be provided.
