Job summary

Tuath Housing Association in Dublin seeks a Housing Officer to provide a visible presence and deliver a high-quality housing management service, including lettings, with a focus on customer satisfaction and KPI targets.

You will work with the Housing Services Team Leader to apply housing policies, support vulnerable customers, and drive continuous improvement through customer engagement and local initiatives. The role emphasizes integrity and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Experience in housing management or lettings is desirable.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Knowledge of tenancy regulations and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Work with Housing Services Manager to develop operational delivery priorities and plans.
• Support Lettings to ensure properties are let in line with KPIs.
• Provide housing management services in line with Tenancy Agreements and statutory requirements.
• Let vacant properties promptly to minimise void rental loss.
• Manage pre-tenancy through to letting within locality and ensure customer experience.
• Undertake viewings and sign ups as directed by Lettings Coordinator/Team Leader.
• Collaborate across localities and tenures with CREL team to improve customer satisfaction.
• Minimise losses by efficient reletting and short void times.
• Complete handover packs and ensure correct system setup for rent and services.
• Advise customers on landlord appliances and in-home health and safety with required certifications.
• Support vulnerable customers and partnerships with external agencies.
• Liaise with customers regarding environmental improvements and rights/responsibilities.
• Attend local estate meetings and participate in community safety projects.
