Vertiv Co in Europe-wide operations seeks a Commissioning Engineer (MV Switchgear) responsible for dead and live testing, relay protection logic integration, first startup, and fault resolution. Travel to customer sites is required.
You will lead onsite teams, supervise Vertiv engineers and subcontractors, and provide technical authority across testing phases. Requires MV field experience and a driving license, with travel up to 80% across the EMEA region.

The Commissioning Engineer is responsible for all testing related activities including dead testing, live testing & relay / protection logic integration. This includes first startup and any subsequent fault finding and issue resolution. Engineers will be expected to travel and attend customer sites for all works including both Vertiv testing and Customer testing regimes. Engineer will be expected to act in a lead capacity both undertaking work and offering management / guidance to Vertiv local engineers and subcontractors.

Act as technical authority for diagnostic & fault finding.FeedbackintotheR&Dprocessforcontinuous improvement. Be prepared to manage teams but also maintain training and technical expertise ready to partake in commissioning activities as required
