Job summary

We are a leading global power management company seeking an Electrical Service Engineer to lead installation projects across our MV/LV equipment portfolio in Ireland. You will be the face of Eaton for customers, oversee 3rd party providers, and support fellow engineers in a hands-on, safety-conscious environment.

The role emphasizes technical execution, commissioning, testing, fault finding, and delivering reliable power solutions to data centers, utilities, and industrial clients.

Qualifications

• Higher Diploma or a Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience with Switchgear products is a must.

Responsibilities

• Lead installation and maintenance, testing and fault finding of LV/MV equipment.
• Act as primary point of contact for customers during project execution.
• Support and mentor other service engineers, ensuring safety and excellence.
• Collaborate with project management to meet delivery targets and enhance customer satisfaction.

What you'll do:

In this role, you'll be the face of Eaton for our customers leading installation projects and oversee 3rd party providers , supporting fellow engineers, and ensuring our MV/LV equipment operates at peak performance. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead installation and perform maintenance & commissioning, testing and fault finding of Eaton-manufactured LV and MV equipment
• Act as the primary point of contact for customers during project execution
• Support and mentor other service engineers, fostering a culture of safety and excellence
• Collaborate with project management to meet delivery targets and enhance customer satisfaction

Qualifications:

• Higher Diploma or a Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Experience with Switchgear products is a must

Skills:

• Experience in Power Distribution testing and commissioning
• Must be able to test and commission large Medium installations
• Ability to perform protection relay programming
• Strong IT and computer literacy with attention to detail
• Ability to respond to breakdowns and drive resolution
