Job summary

The SpitJack Rotisserie Brasserie on Washington Street, Cork, is seeking a Commis Chef to join our kitchen team. Immediate or flexible start, with part-time and full-time options. We require a minimum of 2 years in a professional kitchen and offer a dynamic, award-winning environment.

Wages start at €14.50/hour, with exceptional gratuities and flexible schedules. Career growth, dedicated learning manager and extensive training are available, plus opportunities for internal promotions and a staff

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a professional kitchen.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends.

• Preparing ingredients and dishes to SpitJack standards under the guidance of senior chefs
• Supporting all sections of the kitchen during service
• Ensuring food is prepared and presented consistently and to a high standard
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment
• Following food safety, hygiene, and allergen procedures at all times
• Assisting with stock rotation and storage
• Contributing to a positive, team-focused kitchen culture
