Job summary

Dalata Hotel Group plc is hiring a Commis Chef in Limerick to support the Head and Sous Chefs in daily kitchen operations. You will help ensure high food quality, maintain hygiene standards, and follow Head Chef guidance with efficiency and care.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotels or similar kitchen role.
• Passion for food and teamwork.

• Good knowledge of HACCP procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist Head Chef and Sous Chef in daily kitchen operations.

Your Job:

• Assist the Head Chef & Sous Chef with the overall running of the kitchen.
• Take direction from department managers and assist in the monitoring of food quality and hygiene standards.
• Follow the talented Head Chef's example of excellence and efficiency.
• Adhere to HACCP regulations at all times.
• Support your fellow kitchen staff in observing appropriate systems of hygiene during food preparation and storage.

What You'll Need:

• Have previous experience working within hotels or in a similar role.
• Have a passion for and genuine interest in food.
• Be a team player.
• Be able to work under pressure in a busy kitchen.
• Have good knowledge of HACCP procedures and regulations.
