Job summary

Vhi is seeking a permanent, full-time Commercial Product Specialist based in Abbey Street, Dublin. You will act as the internal subject matter expert across Sales, Customer Service, Marketing, Digital, Technology, Risk, Compliance and external partners to ensure our insurance proposition remains competitive and delivers strong customer outcomes.

Vhi Group Services DAC is currently recruiting for a permanent full-time Commercial Product Specialist position based in Abbey Street, Dublin. The successful candidate will act as the key internal subject matter expert working across Sales, Customer Service, Marketing, Digital, Technology, Risk, Compliance and external partners to ensure our insurance proposition remains competitive, commercially successful and delivers strong customer outcomes.

The Commercial Product Specialist is responsible for supporting the growth, performance and ongoing development of Vhi's Multiline Insurance portfolio, which includes Travel, Dental, International Health, Life & Mortgage Protection. Working as part of the Multiline Development Team, the role combines product ownership, commercial analysis, partner engagement and delivery of business change initiatives.

What will you do:

• Become the subject matter expert for assigned products, with responsibility for understanding customer needs, market trends and competitive positioning.
• Monitor product performance and identify opportunities to improve customer outcomes, commercial performance and operational effectiveness.
• Responsible for delivering the roadmap of product developments, including defining resource requirements, coordinating stakeholders and ensuring implementation.
• Lead and support cross-functional initiatives to deliver growth opportunities, product enhancements and business change activity.
• Manage relationships with external partners and key internal stakeholders including Sales, Customer Service, Digital, IT, Compliance, Risk and Marketing.
• Lead on critical customer, operational or product issues, coordinating cross-functional teams to drive timely resolution.
• Produce market and competitor analysis including product, pricing and service comparisons to support decision making
• Understand customer pain points and trends to help drive solutions in partnership with the Voice of the Customer team.
• Manage product and pricing review process to ensure products remain competitive and deliver value for customers.
• Ensure products are compliant, fit for purpose and address the needs of key market segments.

What you need to be successful: Essential

• Experience supporting the performance, development or delivery of financial services, insurance or consumer products.
• Strong commercial awareness with the ability to analyse performance data, identify trends and make recommendations.
• Experience working across multiple stakeholder groups to deliver business, customer or product outcomes.
• Proven ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrate alignment to Vhi Values.

Desirable

• Experience in insurance, financial services or another regulated industry.
• Experience working within product management, proposition development or product ownership roles.
