Job summary

Nixon McQuade in Dublin is seeking a Commercial Litigation Solicitor to join a well-established mid-tier practice. You will work on commercial and insurance disputes, managing or assisting on complex matters and taking greater responsibility as you gain experience.

Qualifications

• 1–5 years' PQE with experience in commercial litigation, dispute resolution or insurance litigation.
• Experience managing or assisting on commercial disputes and contentious matters.
• Technically strong with solid drafting, analytical and legal research skills.
• Experience preparing court documentation and working with counsel.
• Good commercial awareness and a practical approach to problem-solving.
• Excellent communication and client management skills.

Responsibilities

• Work on commercial and insurance litigation matters, including a range of disputes.
• Gain direct client exposure and take greater responsibility for your own files as you develop.
• Contribute to high-value, complex litigation for Irish and international clients.

The Role

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Litigation Solicitorto join a well-established mid-tier commercial law firm in Dublin.

The team has experienced an exciting period of growth, creating an opportunity for an ambitious solicitor to join a practice led by two highly experienced Partners.

The team advises a broad client base including Irish and international businesses, insurers, financial institutions, entrepreneurs and private clients on a wide range of commercial disputes.

The work is varied, with exposure to both commercial and insurance litigation, including:

• Commercial and contractual disputes
• Shareholder and partnership disputes
• Professional negligence and indemnity claims
• Banking and financial services litigation
• Property and construction disputes
• Regulatory investigations and judicial review
• Arbitration, mediation and alternative dispute resolution

You will work on complex and high-value matters, gaining direct client exposure and the opportunity to take greater responsibility for your own files as your experience develops.
