Job summary

Lavelle Partners LLP in Dublin 2 is seeking a Commercial Litigation & Dispute Resolution Solicitor with at least three years’ post-qualification experience to join our expanding team.

You will advise clients on a broad range of matters, manage litigation caseloads, and contribute to business development while working alongside senior colleagues.

The firm has a first-class reputation and a supportive environment for developing expertise in insolvency, shareholder disputes and property matters.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years’ PQE in litigation and dispute resolution.
• Experience in insolvency, bankruptcy, shareholder disputes and property disputes is desirable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.

Responsibilities

• Advising clients on a diverse range of litigation and dispute resolution matters.
• Managing litigation caseload in all courts and drafting pleadings.
• Liaising with counsel and managing case files to conclusion.
• Working independently and with senior colleagues on litigation matters.
• Interpreting and advising on case law and legislation.
• Advising on alternative dispute resolution options and participating in mediations/arbitrations.

Job description

We are looking for a Commercial Litigation & Dispute Resolution Solicitor to join our expanding team, based in Dublin 2.

The ideal candidate will have at least three years’ post-qualification experience, ideally in commercial litigation and dispute resolution.

Key Responsibilities:

Advising clients on a diverse range of litigation and dispute resolution matters with a particular emphasis on insolvency, bankruptcy, shareholder disputes and property disputes. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Managing litigation caseload in all courts to include drafting pleadings, liaising with counsel (where applicable) and management of case files to conclusion

Working independently and with senior colleagues on a variety of litigation matters

Interpreting, analysing and advising clients on relevant case law and legislation

Advising clients on alternative dispute resolution options and participating in mediations and arbitrations

Management of the client relationship

Participating in business development and networking activities as required

Key Skills & Experience:

Minimum of three years’ PQE in litigation and dispute resolution

Highly organised with a proven ability to manage a busy caseload

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Adept at managing client relations
