Job summary

WSP is seeking an experienced Commercial Lead to establish and grow its commercial management capability across Ireland’s rail, transport and infrastructure sectors. This strategic leadership role focuses on client engagement, commercial consultancy, team development and business growth, reporting to PMCM leadership.

You will work with colleagues across Ireland and the wider UK PMCM business to position WSP as a trusted partner for public and private sector clients, driving risk management and

Qualifications

• Significant experience in commercial management, quantity surveying, cost management or related commercial disciplines.
• Experience working on major transport, rail, infrastructure or capital delivery programmes.
• Strong understanding of commercial governance, procurement, contract administration and risk management.
• Demonstrable experience working under NEC, FIDIC and other recognised forms of contract.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and managing client relationships at a senior level.

Responsibilities

• Establish and lead the Ireland commercial management capability.
• Develop growth strategy aligned with PMCM and Transport sector ambitions.
• Recruit, mentor and develop commercial management professionals.
• Identify and secure opportunities for commercial management and advisory services.
• Provide senior commercial leadership on major programmes.
• Advise clients on NEC, FIDIC and bespoke contracts.
