GEDON™ | Precision Search for Complex Construction in Cork is seeking a qualified Quantity Surveyor to join its specialist interior projects team. You will take commercial ownership on live interior packages, from tender through to final account, interfacing with main contractors and clients in regulated environments.
We require a degree in Quantity Surveying, 5+ years in construction, and experience with cost control, contract administration and value reconciliation.
Our client is a specialist internal fit-out contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-specification interior packages within some of the most demanding built environments in Europe. Their work is centred on controlled and regulated spaces, where precision, compliance and attention to detail are non-negotiable, and where clients rely on a contractor that understands the technical standards these facilities demand.
Over the years, the business has built long-standing relationships with main contractors and end clients operating across sectors such as life sciences, advanced manufacturing and mission-critical technology. This repeat business is a direct reflection of their consistent delivery, technical capability and collaborative approach on site.
With a healthy forward pipeline and growing demand for specialist fit-out capability, the business is now strengthening its commercial function. This is a genuine opportunity to join at a stage where your input will directly shape how commercial performance is managed across the business going forward.
You will be joining a close-knit, delivery-focused team where commercial input is valued and visible. As a specialist contractor rather than a large generalist, the business offers direct access to senior leadership, quick decision-making and the chance to have real influence over project outcomes from tender through to final account.
Projects typically involve complex internal packages within live or highly controlled environments, including specialist wall and ceiling systems, cleanroom-grade finishes and technically demanding interior works. These schemes require careful coordination with main contractors, M&E trades and client representatives, giving you broad exposure to how high-value regulated facilities are delivered.
Based in Cork, the role will involve a mix of office and site-based work, with occasional travel to support projects across Ireland and the wider European market. It is an ideal environment for a Quantity Surveyor ready to step up and take ownership of the commercial side of a growing business.
This role offers a salary of €90,000, alongside a benefits package reflective of a senior commercial position. More importantly, it provides a platform to take genuine ownership of commercial delivery within a growing specialist contractor, working on technically complex projects that will build your reputation in one of the most in-demand areas of the market. As the business expands, there is a clear pathway to progress into senior commercial leadership.
