Job summary

Darwin Hawkins is seeking a Finance Analyst to join the Commercial Finance team in a hybrid Dublin role. You will deliver budgeting and forecasting support, create standardised financial models and provide commercial insights to improve operational and financial performance.

The role focuses on connecting financial information with business activity, monitoring profitability, and driving efficiencies across contracts and projects within a growing facilities management environment.

Qualifications

• Qualified or part-qualified ACA, ACCA or equivalent.
• Experience in financial analysis, FP&A or a similar commercially focused finance role.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis experience.
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial information and identify key commercial trends.
• Facilities Management or related industry background would be advantageous but is not essential.

Responsibilities

• Support annual budgets and monthly reforecasts while working with business leaders to develop accurate financial plans.
• Review existing budget models and develop simpler, standardised and scalable budgeting templates.
• Analyse financial performance, trends and variances to provide meaningful commercial insights to management.
• Support month-end and prepare management accounts, variance analysis and financial performance reporting.
• Work closely with operational and commercial stakeholders to connect financial performance with business activity.
• Develop consistent approaches to tracking key operating costs and identify opportunities for efficiencies and cost savings.
• Monitor contract and project profitability, highlighting underperforming areas and supporting corrective actions.
• Track key cost and margin drivers and provide analysis to support operational and strategic decision-making.
