Tetra Tech Ireland is seeking an experienced Cost Manager to support its engineering consultancy operations across Ireland, with offices in Dublin, Cork or Galway. You will lead commercial controls, manage contracts, invoices and cost reporting while partnering with project teams and clients to drive value.

Qualifications

• Degree or NFQ Level 8 qualification in quantity surveying or related construction discipline.
• Membership of a relevant professional body (RICS, ACostE, CIOB, EI, CICES) is required.
• Experience in multidisciplinary engineering/design consultancy or environmental consultancy in public and private sectors.
• Knowledge of Irish public-sector procurement and contracts (Public Works, NEC3/NEC4, FIDIC).

Responsabilités

• Develop and maintain estimates, cost plans, budgets and forecasts across the project lifecycle.
• Provide commercial advice and negotiate client appointments and sub-consultant agreements.
• Support bids and procurement activities, including pricing and tender documentation.
• Manage variations, scope changes and compensation events, and resolve claims and disputes.
• Identify and manage commercial risks and opportunities, ensuring governance and quality.
• Prepare cost reports and manage invoicing, revenue and cash flow with Finance teams.
• Promote best practice and mentor junior team members.
• Maintain auditable records and utilise Excel, Power BI, and cost-control systems.
