Job summary

Tetra Tech Ireland is seeking an experienced Commercial Manager within its Project Management Office to lead commercial governance, advise on contracts and manage costs across a diverse portfolio of engineering and infrastructure projects in Ireland.

You will work with project managers, finance and clients to optimise invoicing, revenue, WIP and cash flow, while ensuring compliance with procurement frameworks and contract terms. The role offers hybrid working and opportunities across Ireland.

Qualifications

• Degree or NFQ Level 8 in quantity surveying, construction economics, commercial management, or related field.
• Membership of a relevant professional body (RICS, CIOB, EI, etc.).
• Experience in multidisciplinary engineering design or environmental consultancy across public/private sectors.
• Knowledge of Irish public-sector procurement and contracts (NEC3/NEC4/FIDIC).

Responsibilities

• Provide commercial leadership across projects from tendering through close-out.
• Develop cost plans, budgets, forecasts and monitor WIP, accruals and revenue.
• Advise on contracts, scopes, fees and risk allocation.
• Support bids, pricing, tender documentation and procurement activities.
• Manage variations/changes and resolve claims/disputes.
• Maintain auditable commercial records and support final accounts.
