Job summary

Fortis Recruitment is seeking a Commercial Controller to lead finance for UK and European operations from Dublin or UK base. The role is hands-on, central to growth, with accountability for reporting, forecasting and cash management.

Involves acquisition activity and integration, with regular liaison to lenders and leadership on performance improvements. The position offers influence at leadership level and a chance to build the finance function as the business scales.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with 4-6 years' PQE.
• Experience leading finance in a multi-site manufacturing or industrial business.
• M&A and integration exposure; PE-backed experience a plus.
• Hands-on and comfortable operating without a central finance function.
• Willing to travel regularly - roughly every other week.

Responsibilities

• Own monthly, annual and regulatory reporting across multiple sites.
• Lead forecasting and cash management.
• Strengthen process and controls across a multi-site, multi-country operation.
• Drive acquisitions and post-deal integration.
• Manage lender relationships and partner leadership on performance improvement.
