White-Recruitment is recruiting for a Commercial Boiler Maintenance Technician in Dublin. The role covers planned and reactive maintenance of commercial heating and gas systems across a portfolio of sites, with a focus on safety, reliability and efficient fault resolution.

You will work across hospitals, offices and healthcare environments, supported by a technical team and service desk, with opportunities for career progression and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience within commercial service or maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of commercial boiler systems.
• Commercial heating and plumbing experience.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic ability.
• Experience working independently across customer sites.
• Valid Safe Pass.
• Full clean driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance on commercial heating systems.
• Service and maintain commercial boilers and associated plant.
• Diagnose and repair faults on commercial gas equipment.
• Fault-find and maintain gas-fired AHUs.
• Maintain pumps, valves, controls and associated mechanical equipment.
• Carry out plumbing and mechanical repairs where required.
• Attend reactive breakdowns and diagnose faults efficiently.
• Carry out combustion and performance checks.
• Identify remedial works and potential plant improvements.
• Complete service documentation and technical reports.
• Ensure work is completed in accordance with relevant gas and safety regulations.
• Liaise directly with clients and facilities teams.
• Work closely with the service desk to ensure jobs are completed efficiently.
• Maintain agreed response times and service levels.
• Participate in a rotational out-of-hours call-out service.

Commercial Boiler Maintenance Technician

We are currently partnering with a leading M&E and building services contractor to recruit an experienced Commercial Boiler Maintenance Technician to join their expanding service and maintenance division.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Commercial Gas, Combustion or Heating Engineer looking for a secure, long-term position maintaining technically interesting plant across prestigious commercial, healthcare and critical environments.

You'll work predominantly across Dublin and the surrounding areas, joining an established engineering team with excellent technical support, ongoing training and genuine opportunities for career progression.

The Role

As Commercial Boiler Maintenance Technician, you'll be responsible for the planned and reactive maintenance, servicing and fault-finding of commercial heating and mechanical systems across an established portfolio of client sites.

This is a hands‑on field engineering position covering commercial boilers, burners, gas systems, HVAC plant and associated mechanical services.

You’ll manage your own workload while receiving support from an established service desk and technical management team.

The Candidate

We’re looking for an experienced engineer with a strong background in commercial heating, gas or combustion maintenance.

Minimum 5 years' experience within commercial service or maintenance.

Strong knowledge of commercial boiler systems

Commercial heating and plumbing experience

Strong fault-finding and diagnostic ability

Experience working independently across customer sites

Valid Safe Pass

Full clean driving licence

Experience with any of the following would be particularly beneficial:

• Commercial gas burners
• Gas‑fired AHUs
• Oil‑fired heating systems
• Pumps and controls
• BMS interfaces
• HVAC plant
• OFTEC systems

Previous experience within hospitals, healthcare, pharmaceutical, data centre or other critical environments would also be advantageous.
