Job summary

Gilligan Black Recruitment is seeking an experienced Commercial Bid Manager to own a growing public-sector bid pipeline in Dublin. You will manage end-to-end bids, from identifying opportunities to strategy, pricing, submission and handover.

You will coordinate with senior stakeholders across Finance and Commercial teams, work with procurement portals like eTenders, and ensure compliant, compelling tender responses for multi-bid campaigns.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing end-to-end bids/tenders.
• Strong knowledge of public-sector procurement and tender processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the full bid and tender lifecycle from opportunity identification to handover.
• Coordinate bid strategy, pricing, submission and governance with Finance and Commercial teams.
• Manage multiple bids and deadlines; maintain bid library and pipeline.
• Attend procurement meetings, site visits and presentations; capture lessons learned.

Job description

Are you an experienced Commercial Bid Managerwith a strong understanding of public-sector tenders and procurement? This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced bid professional to take ownership of a growing public-sector bid pipeline and work closely with senior stakeholders across the business.

You will take responsibility for the full bid and tender lifecycle, from identifying new opportunities through to bid strategy, pricing, submission and successful handover.

You will manage the end-to-end public-sector bid and tender process, identifying new opportunities through eTenders and other procurement portals, assessing opportunities and coordinating go/no-go decisions. You will develop bid strategies and compelling tender responses, working closely with Finance and Commercial teams on pricing and costings, while reviewing tender requirements, risks and contractual terms. You will manage multiple bids, stakeholders and deadlines, maintain the bid pipeline and tender library, and support public-sector frameworks and compliance. The role will also involve attending procurement meetings, site visits and presentations, analysing feedback from unsuccessful bids, supporting the handover of successful bids, and contributing to market intelligence and continuous improvement of the tender process.

You will ideally have proven experience managing end-to-end bids/tenders and strong knowledge of public-sector procurement and tender processes with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience within Facilities Management, Cleaning, Security, Property Management or another B2B service environment would be advantageous
