Job summary

Moog Inc. is looking for a Commercial Aircraft Technician to join a world-class workshop in North County Dublin. You will perform maintenance tasks on airframe and gas turbine components, following exact manuals and procedures to meet airworthiness standards.

As a time-served technician, you will disassemble, inspect, clean, assemble and test parts, ensuring close tolerances and high workplace standards. Training is provided, and there is a clear path within an onsite Dublin facility.

Qualifications

• Qualified time served in a technical discipline such as Aircraft Mechanic or equivalent apprenticeship.
• Good communication skills with the ability to work individually and as part of a team.
• Experience performing maintenance tasks in line with airworthiness requirements.

Responsibilities

• Disassembly, inspection, cleaning, assembly and testing of components per airworthiness standards.
• Follow technical manuals and procedures precisely.
• Maintain close tolerances and high standards of housekeeping in a workshop environment.
• Compile technical findings reports based on inspections.
• Operate within the company ERP system.
• On-the-job and classroom training is provided.

The Role:

Working as a technician in a world class workshop environment performing maintenance tasks to the highest standards associated with airframe/gas turbine component repair and overhaul.

Responsibilities include:

• Performing disassembly/inspection/cleaning/assembly and testing of components, in accordance with airworthiness requirements.
• You will be required to work in accordance with specific technical manuals and procedures.
• Close attention to detail is required with the ability to work to close tolerances.
• Working to a high standard of housekeeping is necessary by maintaining a clean and neat workspace and adhering to all company policies, procedures and safety standards.
• Compiling technical findings reports based on inspection findings
• Working with the company’s ERP system.
• Full on the job and classroom training is provided.

Requirements:

• Qualified time served as an apprentice in technical discipline such as Aircraft Mechanic, Mechanical Fitter /Turner Automotive Mechanic /Electrician or equivalent.
• Good communication skills with the ability to work individually and as a member of a team
