Job summary

Job Description

General Responsibility: The Avionics Technician is responsible for maintenance and repairs to keep aircraft working safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities
  • Compliance with organisational policies and procedures detailed in the Atlantic Aviation Group MOE and supporting manuals.
  • Identifying and rectifying existing and potential unsafe conditions.
  • Adhering to safety and deactivation/reactivation requirements.
  • Maintaining the work environment in a clean and safe manner.
  • Complying with internal and mandatory reporting requirements.
  • Complying with the safety policy.
  • Signing off maintenance tasks performed or supervised within the scope and limitations of an authorisation, where issued.
  • Notifying crew leader and inspector of mistakes requiring rectification to re‑establish required maintenance standards.
  • Removal and installation of electrical components.
  • Replacing connectors.
  • Wire running and replacements.
  • Replacing antenna at height.
  • Use of general test equipment.
  • Compliance with AMM and aircraft drawings.
  • Compliance with H&S practices.
  • Good computer literacy.
  • Operating powered and non‑powered ground equipment.
  • Completing aircraft maintenance documentation and entering data that is accurate and complete.
Candidate Requirements

Must hold a valid aircraft standards‑based qualification with at least 4 years of aircraft maintenance experience; knowledge of aeronautical regulations PART‑145 and PART‑66; fluency in English, both written and verbal.

Desirable Criteria
  • Experience in Boeing/Wide Body aircraft.
  • Good communication skills, both verbally and written, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to work as part of a team.
  • Ability to work on own initiative and demonstrate leadership skills.
  • Proficient organisational skills and ability to work efficiently.
