Job summary

Moog in Carrigaline, Ireland, is seeking a Test Operator to support PCB production on site. You will operate assembly equipment, prepare components for manual assembly, and perform PCB cleaning, bonding, and packaging tasks in a hands-on manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform manual PCB and mechanical assembly per formal procedures and drawings.
  • Inspect and rework PCBs and components as per criteria.
  • Complete production related documentation.
  • Use ERP system to transact Work orders and maintain records.
  • Adhere to safety, anti-static and housekeeping requirements.

For you, working with us can mean deeper job satisfaction, better rewards, and a great quality of life inside and outside of work.**Job Title**:Test Operator**Reporting To:**Team Lead, PCB Test Technician**Work Schedule:**Onsite – Carrigaline, IESummary of Function and Specific Responsibilities:The role reports to the PCB Production Supervisor, will support normal production activities as required.Specific Responsibilities: • Operate assembly equipment required to complete specified tasks. • Prepare components for manual assembly • Operate PCB cleaning and baking equipment • Use Torque tools for assembly of specific fasteners • Perform manual assembly of PCB’s and some mechanical hardware to formal assembly procedures, process procedures, assembly drawings and SOP’s • Typical components handled will be printed circuit cards and electronic components. • Application of adhesives and conformal coatings. • Prototype assembly work under engineering control. • Set up equipment and carry out process related measurements as required. • Perform operator machine maintenance as specified. • Inspect and rework PCB’s and components as per established criteria. • Typical other items used will be specified safety equipment worn during maintenance. • Completion of all necessary production related documentation. • Use our ERP system to transact Work orders. • Adherence to all necessary requirements relating to personal tool maintenance, anti-static precaution, safety and housekeeping.Specific equipment training will be provided.Preferable Qualifications & Skills: • Knowledge of IPC7711/IPC7721 and IPC J-Standard and there application Work Environment: • The role may involve standing or sitting for extended periods of time, fine dexterity tasks, manual handling activities, working with VDU/DSE, repetitive movements, working with controlled chemicals.
