TalentTech Recruitment Ltd in Limerick, Dublin, Kildare area is recruiting a CNC Programmer for the metal sector. The role focuses on delivering and commissioning custom post‑processor G‑code and providing training and consultancy to customers.

You will implement CAM software solutions for new and existing clients, work with 3– to 5‑axis machines, and deliver demonstrations across the UK while engaging with engineers and procurement teams. Hybrid work is offered with travel requirements.

Qualifications

• Proven CNC programming experience with CAM software.
• Experience with 5-axis/mill-turn machines.
• Willingness to travel to the office 2x per week and RoI work rights.

Location: Limerick, Dublin, Kildare

Salary: €35,000 - €47,000 basic salary + 8‑12% Personal bonus + Company Bonus + €7,000 Car Allowance + Other Benefits

Work arrangement: Hybrid – 1‑2 days office, 1‑2 days WFH, 1‑2 days with customers

Engineering & Manufacturing Production CAD/CAM Software is an established, growing engineering software business looking to strengthen its engineering manufacturing/production software team.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer with a background in the metal sector and solid CAD/CAM skills. The role focuses on delivering and commissioning custom post‑processor G‑code and providing training and consultancy to customers.

Responsibilities

• Implement CAM software solutions for new and existing customers.
• Write and commission custom post‑processor G‑code for a range of CNC machines from 3‑axis mills to 5‑axis, complex mill‑turn and sliding head machines.
• Deliver training and product demonstrations to customers across the UK.
• Provide CAM consultancy programming services for complex components.
• Engage daily with stakeholders – mechanical engineers, procurement managers and board level personnel.
• Support customers with technical queries and best practice advice.

Qualifications

• Excellent understanding of CNC programming.
• Experience with advanced mill‑turn, sliding head and 5‑axis machines.
• Deep knowledge of at least one modern CAM system (SolidCAM, CAMWorks, Fusion 360, Mastercam, EDGEcam, hyperMILL, DELMIA).
• Knowledge of a mainstream machine controller such as FANUC, HEIDENHAIN or Siemens.
• Basic logic programming knowledge; C# preferred.
• Experience writing and editing post‑processor G‑code.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Full, valid driving licence.
• Willingness to travel to the office at least twice per week.
• Right to work in RoI indefinitely – no sponsorship available.
