Job summary

TalentTech Recruitment Ltd. is sourcing a CAM Engineer for metal machining, working with CAM software and post‑processor setup. The role covers implementing CAM solutions for clients, writing post‑processors, and delivering training across sites in Ireland.

The ideal candidate has CNC programming experience in metal, knowledge of multi‑axis machinery, and familiarity with major CAM packages. Hybrid work, with travel to customer sites, is offered along with a competitive package.

Qualifications

• CAD/CAM programming experience in metal sector.
• Experience with post‑processor G-code and multi‑axis machining is beneficial.
• Knowledge of machine controllers (FANUC/HEIDENHAIN/Siemens) is essential.

Responsibilities

• Implement CAM software solutions for new and existing customers.
• Write and commission post‑processor G-codes for CNC machines (3‑ to 5‑axis).
• Deliver training and product demonstrations to customers across regions.
• Provide CAM consultancy programming services for complex components.
• Engage with engineers, procurement, and leadership on technical needs.
