Job summary

McAree Engineering Works Limited is seeking experienced CNC operators for their Ballinode, Monaghan facility. The role focuses on setting up and running CNC press brakes, reading fabrication drawings, and ensuring parts meet specifications.

Candidates should have at least 2 years in manufacturing, with strong teamwork and safety awareness. Pay is €36,605–€42,000 per year, with potential for progression and additional hours as required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of manufacturing experience.
• Ability to read technical/fabrication drawings is essential.
• Experience operating press brakes is required; plasma or laser cutters advantageous.
• Commitment to safe methods and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Set up and prepare CNC press brake machines for production runs.
• Read and interpret fabrication drawings; select, load and secure tooling/materials.
• Operate press brake to form parts to specification; inspect dimensions and quality.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and adhere to safety standards; collaborate with the team.
