The salary range starts from €36,605 (17.60/hr) to €42,000 (20.19/hr) based on a 40-hour week. Salary will increase proportionately if additional hours are required. Salary offered shall be based on relevant experience and qualifications. Job Description - Experienced CNC Press Brake Operator role in a large sheet metal fabrication company supplying OEMs in materials handling, agricultural machinery and M&E sectors. The role involves setting up and preparing CNC press brake machines, reading and interpreting fabrication drawings, selecting and loading tooling and materials, producing parts to specification with quality and dimensional checks, maintaining an organised work area and adhering to high safety standards. Set up and prepare CNC press brake machines for production runs; read and interpret fabrication and technical drawings; select, load and secure appropriate tooling and raw materials; operate press brake to form sheet metal parts to specification; monitor and check part dimensions and quality, carrying out inspections and adjustments as required; maintain machine, tooling and workplace cleanliness and organisation; follow safe working methods and company safety procedures; work collaboratively with a multicultural production team and communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues.
Required Qualifications - Minimum 2 years experience in a manufacturing environment. Ability to read and understand technical and fabrication drawings is essential. Practical experience operating press brakes is required; experience with plasma or laser cutters is advantageous. Practical understanding of safe methods of work and adherence to safety standards. Good communication skills and ability to work in a team. A technical qualification in sheet metal fabrication or a related discipline is desirable but not essential.
