Job summary

EBARA Precision Machinery Europe GmbH seeks a Field Service Engineer to service CMP planar semiconductor equipment in a cleanroom fab in Ireland. You will install, diagnose, repair, and maintain state-of-the-art CMP systems on customer sites, with day and night shifts.

The role requires hands-on technical work, reading schematics, and coordinating spare parts. Travel internationally for training and on-site support will be occasional.

Qualifications

• NFQ level 6/7 technical field required.
• 3 years’ experience in a HVM environment or 1 year with degree.
• Experience troubleshooting mechanical, electrical and PLC software systems.
• Eligible to live and work in Ireland.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Install, upgrade, repair and perform preventive maintenance on CMP systems in a cleanroom.
• Analyse, diagnose and troubleshoot CMP hardware/software issues.
• Read electrical/Schematics and P&ID drawings to resolve complex system problems.
• Manage spare parts for CMP installations and support.
• Report weekly on system performance to customer and management.
