Job summary

ESS Ltd. in Ireland is seeking an Asset Care Engineer to oversee the asset care improvement project and optimise the CMMS, ensuring the system supports maintenance and asset management needs.

You will coordinate on-site resources, develop schedules, manage asset tagging, PM and PdM plans, and generate KPI reports, while training staff and aligning CMMS structure with business goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience in CMMS management and asset care projects.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of asset management principles and preventive maintenance methodologies.
• Technical proficiency: CMMS platforms and asset management systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate ESS resources on-site to ensure smooth project execution.
• Develop and manage efficient project schedules.
• Monitor and report on project KPIs monthly.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for the client and ESS personnel on-site.
• Maintain accurate asset records within the CMMS and manage asset tagging for traceability.
• Classify assets and conduct asset criticality assessments.
• Develop PM and PdM job plans and improve maintenance strategies with data insights.
• Standardise CMMS asset structure and update it with changes.
• Train staff on CMMS usage and best practices.
