Job summary

eir Business is seeking a Cloud Practice Lead to own the cloud platform and drive its growth as a private & hybrid cloud offering. The role spans technical presales, solution architecture, platform strategy and technical marketing.

The incumbent will act as the platform SME, collaborating with customers, sales, engineering and delivery teams to define solutions and develop technical propositions. This is a hybrid role based in HSQ Dublin.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in infrastructure, private and public cloud platforms, virtualisation and solution architecture.
• Strong understanding of enterprise datacentre and private cloud technologies, including virtualisation, networking, storage and automation.
• Proven experience in a technical presales, consulting or customer-facing solution architecture role.
• Experience designing and presenting complex infrastructure solutions to technical and senior customer stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of the listed enterprise infrastructure technologies (Nutanix, VMware, OpenShift, Proxmox, KVM) and related tooling.

Responsibilities

• Act as the technical SME and primary technical point of contact for eir business cloud.
• Lead technical discovery, solution design and presales engagements with customers.
• Develop reference architectures, technical proposals, statements of work and responses to RFPs/RFIs.
• Deliver customer-facing technical presentations, workshops, demonstrations and proofs-of-concepts.
• Work with sales and account teams to identify and develop opportunities for eir business cloud.
