Job summary

Vectra is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our global DevOps group. You will work on pipelines, cloud deployments, and platform services that power security products across data centers, cloud, and customer sites.

The role emphasizes automation, reliability, and fast deployments, with collaboration across geo-distributed teams. A Bachelor's in CS/Engineering and hands-on AWS, Kubernetes, and CI/CD experience are expected.

Qualifications

  • Relevant Bachelor's degree (CS, Engineering, etc.).
  • 1–2 years hands-on DevOps/SRE experience.
  • Strong belief in DevOps and Agile principles.
  • Zealous about automation.
  • Comfort with cloud deployments, networking, and security best practices.
  • CI/CD pipeline experience (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.).
  • Hands-on AWS experience.
  • Hands-on Kubernetes experience.
  • Linux system proficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for our products.
  • Define and implement tools that enable other teams to follow DevOps best practices.
  • Own and deliver a suite of platform services consumed by internal stakeholders across teams and functions.
  • Work on cloud environments ensuring reliability and availability.
  • Ensure production deployments are fast, reliable, and safe.
  • Work with geo-distributed development teams to improve quality and time-to deploy.
  • Automate, Automate, Automate.
