Job summary

RECRUITERS in Dublin City Centre is seeking an experienced Cloud Architect on a 2-year contract to join a specialist team focused on cloud interoperability, switching and EU Data Act compliance.

You will apply hands-on Azure and GCP expertise to complex investigations, guide multi-cloud reviews and data migrations, and provide technical input to regulators and industry bodies. This role embraces blended working with a strong emphasis on communication.

Qualifications

• Third-level qualification in Cloud Services or related discipline.
• ≥3 years hands-on cloud architecture experience.
• Strong Azure knowledge including AKS, Entra ID, Cosmos DB.
• GCP familiarity: GKE, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Anthos.
• Experience in multi-cloud environments and data migration.
• OpenStack and cloud standards knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provide cloud architecture expertise across investigations and disputes.
• Assess interoperability and switching requirements under Data Act.
• Guide reviews and testing in multi-cloud environments.
• Evaluate cloud switching, workload migration and data egress.
• Input on cloud standards and regulatory evidence.
• Engage with regulators and industry bodies.
