Role Profile

The Faculty of Science and Health seeks to appoint a Clinical Simulation Technical Officer/Senior Technical Officer on a full-time, fixed term basis.

The main purpose of the post is to provide technical support to healthcare simulation activities in the Faculty of Science and Health in Dublin City University, enabling the delivery of high-quality, simulation-based education and research activities to students and staff.

The postholder will oversee day to day operations of the interprofessional simulation facility, ensuring its smooth running and optimal usage of resources, space and equipment. They will also be responsible for the collation and maintenance of inventory as well as the care of manikins, AV and other equipment used in clinical simulation. Occasional evening or weekend shifts may be required.

The post holder reports to the Faculty Facilities Manager.

Salary Scale

Technical Officer / Senior Technical Officer Salay Scale - €42,153 - €74,920

Appointment will be commensurate with qualifications and experience and in line with current Government pay policy.
