Life Science Recruitment is seeking a Clinical Sales Specialist to drive sales and provide training for Micro/Molecular/Histology diagnostics across Ireland. In partnership with some of the leading manufacturers from across the world our client has established itself as one of Ireland's leading distributors of laboratory supplies and equipment to the Clinical, Industrial, Pharmaceutical, Veterinary, University and Research industries.

Their product portfolio covers a wide range of Diagnostics, including Microbiology, Autoimmune Serology, Clinical Chemistry, Immunoassay and Real Time Molecular Diagnostics. Other product lines include Blood Collection Systems, POCT, Medical Devices, Liquid handling consumables, Instrumentation/Automation, Healthcare IT Systems and Calibration/Validation Services.

The Role:

Our client requires an enthusiastic driven individual seeking an opportunity to work in a vibrant, growth driven environment. The successful candidate will work as part of the Sales Organisation and will engage with customers throughout the sales cycle based on expert knowledge of both the technology and the associated applications. The candidate will be responsible for sales, support, account management and customer training on Clinical Diagnostic Microbiology/Molecular/Histology.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work independently, and as part of the sales team, to support Clinical Diagnostic Instrumentation and solutions.
• Perform product support and training
• Account Management of existing customer base and develop new business
• Be client-focused and customer centric, working in conjunction with the Applications and Service teams to meet company goals and objectives.
• Active participation in conferences, seminars and exhibitions.
• This is a customer facing role so the candidate will be required to travel and meet customers on a regular basis throughout Ireland.

Experience & Abilities:

• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Clinical Diagnostics Sales Role.
• Strong skillset in solution selling
• Dependent on experience and to perform at this level, a minimum degree in Microbiology, Molecular Biology or an equivalent Life Sciences field is required.
• Experience of Clinical Laboratory diagnostic products and instrumentation
• Proven ability to work remotely and independently, excellent communication skills and the ability to prioritise workload in an effective manner.
• Strong organisational and planning skills required.
• Must be willing to travel extensively around Ireland as required.
• A full clean driving licence is essential.
