Job summary

Enable Ireland seeks a Psychologist Staff Grade to join their team in Mid-Kildare CDNT 10 Jigginstown. The role involves providing a range of psychology services for children and families within an interdisciplinary framework across multiple settings.

The successful candidate will hold a relevant degree and a PSI/BPS-accredited qualification, with evidence of supervised clinical placement and competence in care group areas. Eligible to work in Ireland and a valid driving licence are required.

Qualifications

• University degree or diploma with Psychology major and honours.
• Irish post-graduate psychology qualification accredited by the Psychological Society of Ireland.
• Equivalent qualification validated by the Department of Health.
• Demonstrate competence in the Care Group areas.
• 60 days or equivalent supervised clinical placements or post-qualification supervised work experience.
• Educational psychology qualification with 60 days experience in health settings.
• Must be a member of PSI or BPS.
• Eligible to work in the state.
• Valid driving licence with access to transport to deliver services across a large area.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychologist services to young people (0–18) and families within an interdisciplinary framework.
• Carry out assessment and intervention, clinical supervision and service development.
• Deliver services across clinic, preschools, schools, children’s homes and community settings.
