UPMC Ireland is seeking a Clinical Nurse Manager II to lead the Day Ward at the Sports Surgery Clinic, Dublin. Working with the Theatre Manager, you will drive high standards of patient-centred care and lead a developing team while ensuring efficient ward operations.

The role requires your nursing registration with a minimum five years post-registration experience in an acute setting, plus management leadership capabilities and a commitment to ongoing professional development.

Qualificações

• Be registered in the general division of the Register of Nurses.
• Five years post-registration nursing experience in an acute hospital with at least three years in a relevant area.
• Hold a management qualification or be willing to undertake one.
• Previous management experience would be an advantage.
• Well-developed leadership, interpersonal and organisational skills.
• Computer skills.
• Orthopaedic experience.

Responsabilidades

• Develop strategies and service goals for the Day Ward with Theatre Manager and other CNMs.
• Provide professional leadership and vision, facilitate team building and planned care.
• Maintain a quality standard of service and lead quality improvement and accreditation.
• Develop staff engagement and participate in change management.
• Ensure all staff are proficient in patient care management.
• Audit nursing practice and evaluate improvements in patient care.
• Support staff development and plan duty rosters for appropriate skill mix.
• Communicate with Theatre Manager, Nursing Administration and Multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care.
